Our Inspiration

In 2004, Pt. Biri Lal Saraswat Ji was waiting for the train at Achhnera, a town in Agra. He saw an old man crying. He went near and asked why is he crying? The old man said, “I am crying over my deeds”. On being asked repeatedly by Pandit Ji, he told that he has three children. Nobody keeps him with them and have took whatever he had. I am needy for bread. They abuse and misconduct. Pandit Ji said, “You should come with me to my house and I will talk to your son. Please don't cry while I bring your ticket”. Pandit Ji went to fetch the ticket after explaining to the elderly while the train came and the old man jumped in front of the train and ended his life. When Pt. Ji returned with the ticket, seeing the corpse of the old man he lost his mind and he could not even think of coming to his village Attoos. This incident had such an impact that Pandit Ji, in the name of his father Late Shri Ramlal Saraswat Ji, started Ramlal Vriddha Ashram and Gaushala considering auspicious time and place. For his service on the pathetic condition of the elders, Pandit Ji put up his whole family into it and resolved to provide free service to the helpless and poor victimized from their relatives. The youngest son of Pt. Ji, Vishnu Sharma, did a lot of service of the elderly for many years dedicating his mind, wealth and body but unfortunately drowned in the Yamuna while taking a bath at a young age of 24 years. Pandit Birilal Saraswat Ji and Vishnu Sharma are not among us today, but their planted sapling is today a major center for old age service in Agra city.

Our greetings to Pandit Ji and Vishnu.
